Construction of weight-bearing plinths and oil containment bunds for two 33kV transformers, including all excavations, reinforcing steel, formwork, and concrete pours. Bunds filled with engineered shingle and gravel layers to safely contain full transformer oil volume.

Grid Substation
Construction of a reinforced concrete raft foundation supporting an elevated switchroom at Flagship Park, Peterborough. Works integrated with the existing site earthing system and built to strict UK Power Networks quality, safety, and dimensional requirements.

Honington Primary
Replace T1 & T2
Civil and structural works enabling the installation of new primary transformers at Honington Primary substation. Scope included precast fire protection blast walls providing a minimum 4-hour fire resistance rating, alongside full concrete bases, bunds, and plinths.

Wix Primary
Substation
Mezini Brothers' first deployment of FastBase pre-fabricated transformer bases at Wix Primary Substation, Colchester. This innovative low-carbon system drastically reduced on-site working time compared to traditional in-situ concrete, whilst meeting all DNO structural requirements.

Battery Storage
Working alongside JSM, Mezini Brothers provided all civil infrastructure for a new Tesla Megapack battery storage facility for EO Charging. The project encompassed demolition and site preparation through to final reinstatement, delivering a complete civil package over 10 months.
